Finance and HR System

Student System

The Patriot Project is a university-wide initiative to convert Mason's finance, human resources, and student admininstrative systems to SCT Corporation's Banner Software. The systems are web based and portal intensive with extensive e-commerce capabilities. The Banner implementation will position the university to provide improved services to students, increase institutional efficiency and effectiveness, and introduce new capabilities.

To access the new administrative system, please use the Patriot Web located at: https://patriotweb.gmu.edu.

Banner Student
In the latest deliverable from the Banner Student implementation, students are now able to search for and register for fall 2004 classes online through Patriot Web.

Web registration is highly intuitive, but students may find they need additional assistance the first time they use the product. Answers to FAQs and quick reference guides are available on the Registrar’s web site, at http://registrar.gmu.edu.

Problems should be reported to the ITU Support Center, at (703) 993-8870, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 7:00 pm.

Human Resources and Payroll
The HR/Payroll system went live January 1, 2003. All time reporting, payroll processing and employee records are operational.

Finance
The Finance system went live July 1, 2002. All activity including payrolls, encumbrances, revenue and vendor payments are operational.
