about the Authors
Abraham Mehrez
is a professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at
Ben-Gurion University, Beer-Sheva, Israel. His present research interests
include interdisciplinary management research and applications on the analysis
of public and private sectors systems.
Shlomo Mizrahi is a lecturer in the Department of Public
Policy and Administration, School of Management, Ben-Gurion University, Beer-Sheva,
Israel. His research interests are public policy, collective action, game
theory, public choice theory, and bargaining and conflict resolution.
Arye Naor
is an assistant professor in the Department of Public Policy and
Administration in the School of Management at Ben-Gurion University, Beer-Sheva,
Israel. His research interests are ideological beliefs and policy
considerations, governability, Israeli government, Israel-Arab wars and peace
process, and democracy in Judaism.
Marc Howard Ross is William R. Kenan, Jr. Professor of
Political Science at Bryn Mawr College and Director of the Peace and Conflict
Studies Program at Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges. He is the author of
numerous books and articles on culture and conflict and is especially
interested in the relationship between theories of conflict and the practice
of conflict resolution in the area of ethnic conflict.
Jay Rothman
is Scholar-in-Residence at the McGregor School of Antioch University, teaches
in its Management and Conflict Resolution Programs. He is also Research
Director of the Action Evaluation Research Institute. Dr. Rothman is the
author of several books.
Randi Land Rothman
is a clinical social worker and has worked with individuals, families and
groups, particularly around issues of loss and change. She has led workshops
and trainings in both social work and conflict resolution settings and as a
journalist has published a variety of articles in newspapers, magazines and
journals.
Mary Hope Schwoebel
has twenty years of experience in the fields of humanitarian assistance,
international development, and conflict resolution. Her research interests
include, peacebuilding and development, gender and conflict, culture and
conflict, and peacekeeping operations.
Janice Gross Stein is the Harrowston Professor of Conflict
Management and Negotiation at the University of Toronto and a Fellow of the
Royal Society of Canada. She currently serves as the Director of the Munk
Centre for International Studies. Dr. Stein has co-authored and co-edited
several books.
