602 Managerial Economics and the Impact of Policy (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: MBA 601. Focuses on impact of economic policy and other macroeconomic factors relevant to managerial decisions.

610 Financial Accounting and Statement Analysis (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: Admission to the Fast Track M.B.A. program. Introduces accounting principles and their use in analyzing financial statements.

611 Financial and Managerial Accounting and the Decision-Making Process (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: MBA 610. Emphasizes managerial decision making with an accounting perspective.

612 Managing Costs and Evaluating Performance (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: MBA 611. Examines the impact of cost and cost allocation on performance and evaluation.

620 Marketing Basics (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: Admission to the Fast Track M.B.A. program. Analyzes role of marketing function in management of an organization and in effective decision making.

621 Marketing Programs and Processes (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: MBA 620. Illustrates the impact of marketing strategy on business processes such as new product development, distribution, and customer retention.

630 Managing Business Information Using Statistical Techniques (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: Admission to the Fast Track M.B.A. program. Focuses on statistical analysis that derives patterns in complex data and estimates parameters key to successful management.

631 Applied Statistics for Managerial Decision Making (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: MBA 630. Teaches students to make comparisons and draw managerial conclusions in uncertain environments. Students learn to identify potential means of improvement through modeling and forecasting.

635 Managing Operations for Competitive Advantage (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: Admission to the Fast Track M.B.A. program. Introduces operations strategy and the role of technology in operations as it pertains to productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.

636 Achieving Excellence in Operations (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: MBA 635. Focuses on the design and development of products and services with an emphasis on operations and process engineering.

641 Creation of Corporate Value (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: MBA 640. Focuses on the creation of corporate financial value in an international market.

Emphasizes development of conceptual tools for understanding and analyzing organizational behavior. Considerable focus on development of relevant skills for working in groups and teams.

661 Case Studies in Leveraging Technology (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: MBA 660. Focuses on application of information technology as a tool in achieving management goals. Case study involves meaningful contact with decision makers on solutions to current problems.

Focuses on strategic planning at the business unit level by assessing internal capabilities and analyzing the external environment. Examines global strategic issues in respect to competitive analysis and differentiation strategies.

677 Application of Business Theories„A Simulation (1.5:1.5:0). Prerequisite: Admission to the Fast Track M.B.A. program. Applies tools and techniques gained in previous courses to a competitive, global market setting. Presentations on relevant topics enhance the learning experience.
