  • Alumni Association Beer Tasting
    George’s Restaurant, Johnson Center, 3rd Floor
    7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
    Mason alumni are invited to the 2nd annual beer tasting. This year features a tasting where a local brew master will teach about styles and history of beer. Cost for event is $20 per person and includes tasting, refreshments and a commemorative tasting glass. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.

    Remember all of the time and energy you poured into creating or building a student organization? Were you an Ambassador, a resident advisor, a peer advisor, or a student government leader? Here is your chance for some well-deserved recognition for the contribution you made to student life. Re-connect with old friends and meet former and current student leaders who share your passion for making a difference at Mason. Event sponsored by Kaplan Test and Prep.
  • Pre-game Block Party
    Parking Lot A, Fairfax Campus
    3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
    You are invited to celebrate Mason at the 10th annual Homecoming Block Party. Activities will include Mason pep rally with appearances by the Masonettes, Mason cheerleaders, Gunston, and more. Wander through the heated tent to visit with friends, meet alumni, faculty, staff and students, listen to live music, and much more. An event great for any Patriot fan, the tent will include Mason’s family friendly area which will have interactive games, crafts, and face painting for our Little Patriots, as well as academic unit hospitality tables, and refreshments.   • 2008 Alumni-Athlete Reunion and Tailgate at the Homecoming Block Party
    Parking Lot A, Fairfax Campus
    3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
    The Patriot Club invites all former student-athletes to rehash the good times at Mason! Join Mason Athletics coaches & administrators, and other Mason alumni-athletes at the Patriot Club tailgate tent pre-game for food and fun! Friends and families are welcome! Music, snacks, drinks and giveaways will be provided! Look for the Mason Athletics green & gold tent. All alumni-athletes who RSVP will receive one complimentary ticket to the game.

    George Mason Patriots vs. UNCW Seahawks
    Patriot Center, Fairfax Campus ~ Game Time: 6:00 p.m.

    Cheer on the Patriots as they battle for a win against the UNCW Seahawks. Discount tickets are available for alumni. Online tickets can be purchased for $6.00 (plus convenience and/or handling fee). Tickets are in high demand for this game, so purchase your tickets online today! Discount is available until February 10, 2008 or while tickets last.

  • Post game Fireworks
    Mason Pond Drive, Fairfax Campus
    End your homecoming celebration with a bang! Following the basketball game enjoy a fireworks display over Mason Pond. A unique homecoming tradition, this is something you don’t want to miss!
  • Homecoming After Party, presented by the Fairfax Social Club
    PJ Skidoos Restaurant, Fairfax ~ Immediately following the game
    Dance all night with the band and DJ, enjoy drink specials and special guests.
