Arlington Campus
Construction continues for the George Mason University Foundation's new five-story office/retail complex and parking deck contiguous to the Arlington Campus. Scheduled to be completed in summer 2006, the 205,000-square-foot building will consist of 192,500 square feet of office space and 12,500 square feet of retail space. The project will also include 760 parking spaces and is located off of Washington Boulevard next to Arlington I.

Taken in November 2004, this photo shows how far the project has come. |

The building continues to grow upward as seen towards the School of Law building.

Looking towards the one of the residential areas surrounding the Arlington Campus, Arlington II will have great views of the whole area. |

Once completed next summer, the building will provide more spaces for daily visitors to the Arlington Campus. |
Fairfax Campus
Research I, Mason's first building dedicated solely to research, continues to take shape on the Fairfax Campus. Slated for a December 2005 opening, the building will house a high-tech astronomy lab, a rooftop observatory, faculty offices, research laboratories, and a small technology-enabled conference center.
