Etiquette Dinners

  • While sitting at the dinner table do you look at the place setting and wonder what water glass is yours or which fork you should use?
  • Are you nervous about a business meeting or job interview that might be held over lunch or dinner?
The Student Alumni Etiquette Dinner is a great way to learn the appropriate tools and techniques. This is a unique event that allows you to network with alumni in a more relaxed environment while being taught proper dinning etiquette. The event is just $5.00 and includes dinner, etiquette instruction, and an evening of fun.

» Join us Tuesday, October 16, 2007, for the next etiquette dinner. To reserve your seat purchase tickets at the Office of Alumni Affairs, located in the Johnson Center near the food court. Seats are limited so don't delay! Read more about past dinners. «

Student Alumni Partnership
Introduced for the first time during the 2005-2006 academic school year the Student Alumni Partnership is a select group of students that apply to be partnered with an Alumni Association board member for a mentoring experience. This is a voluntary opportunity for you to expand your network and connect with current and former Mason Alumni Association board members. Space is limited and students are selected based on their interests, academic standing, and the ability to match them with an appropriate alumni partner.

For additional information, please contact Katie Thomasson, Associate Director of Alumni Affairs at (703) 993-8737 or kthomass@gmu.edu.

Exam Goodie Giveaways
You will not want to miss this! Each semester the Alumni Association recruits alumni volunteers to help distribute FREE scantrons and bluebooks to students prior to exams. Look for a kiosk in the Johnson Center during the final week of classes and stop by to pick up your goodies.
