Volunteer Information
Become more involved by joining the Mason Alumni volunteer listserv! Whether you are interested in volunteering on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, stay informed with the happenings of the Alumni Association by subscribing to the volunteer listserv. By joining, you will receive periodic calls for volunteers for different events throughout the year.
To subscribe, send an e-mail message to: listserv@listserv.gmu.edu.

Alumni Admissions Network
The Office of Alumni Affairs and the Office of Admissions are currently looking for alumni volunteers to get involved in the university admissions process in the following areas: New England, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, California, Texas, Ohio, Florida, and Georgia. The Alumni Admissions Network gives you the opportunity to recruit and contact students in your area. You can represent Mason at a local college fair, interview a prospective student, offer a recommendation, or even host a student reception in your hometown. Become an Annual Giving Donor
Alumni are encouraged to designate a portion of their Annual Giving donation to the Alumni Association to support its activities and programs. For more information, visit the Supporting Mason website or call the GMU Foundation at (703) 993-8850.
Career Network Online

Center for Leadership and Community Engagement
The Center for Leadership & Community Engagement promotes positive change and civic engagement by combining academic study, leadership development and direct community service. CLCE is your resource at GMU for leadership education and service-learning initiatives. Alumni wishing to learn more about CLCE or wanting to find community volunteer opportunities can visit the Center online.
Law Mentoring Program
A network of law alumni who are matched with law students to serve as informal advisors during their first year of law school. Call the GMUSL Office of Career Services at (703) 993-8020 for more information.
Speakers Bureau
Do you enjoy public speaking? Can others benefit from your knowledge of a particular topic? If so, be sure to join the University Speakers Bureau, a community outreach program that provides expert speakers to businesses, schools, libraries, homeowner associations, and civic organizations in Northern Virginia. The program started in 1993 and currently boasts more than 100 faculty, staff, and alumni speakers who participate on a volunteer basis.
