Visiting Scholars Program

Visiting Scholars Program at the Center for Global Korea has been established to accommodate the increasing number of the international scholars who wish to do research in the field of Korean Studies and related topics. The Center invites a few individuals every year who wish to conduct their researchers using George Mason faculties, facilities, and the Washington D.C. area’s resources including the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian museums. The Center accepts a few qualified scholars, authors, government executives, and artists who could contribute their academic sprits to the Center for Global Korea and engage in research related to their academic fields or specialized areas of expertise.

To Apply for Visiting Scholars Program, the following documents should be sent to the director at the previous semester of one wish to arrive at George Mason University.

  1. Comprehensive Research Proposal
  2. Current Curriculum Vitae
  3. Two Recommendation Letters
  4. Proof of Financial Support from Your Institution or Sponsor
