How to Get Your Free Student Tickets
All full time students—students carrying nine paid credit hours per semester as undergrads, or six paid credits as grad students—are eligible for free student tickets. Students must bring their valid GMU ID when picking up tickets.
For most performances, two free student tickets can be picked up in person at the Center for the Arts Ticket Office beginning on Tuesday of the week prior to the week of the event. For some performances there are a limited number of student tickets available. For these performances, students are allowed only one free ticket, although they may obtain a second free ticket 30 minutes before the performance, if available. Performances with limited student tickets are noted.
Part time students attending a performance as a class requirement are exempt from the credit hour criteria and may pick up tickets using the same procedure as full time students, as long as student tickets remain available.
Students may also buy one
discounted companion ticket for
most performances. Additional
tickets are available at full price.
Students located at Arlington, Prince William, and Loudoun campuses may download the student ticket request form and fax it along with a copy of their class schedule to 703-993-8650.
Tickets for Arlington, Prince William, and Loudoun students will be held at the venue Will Call window for pickup on the day of the performance.
