Specializations in research and research methods, evaluation, Track 1 1/2 workshop facilitation, third party roles, and theories of peace and conflict. Emphasis on coordination and collaboration amongst actors working on peace processes and post-war reconstruction.

INTERVENTION AND TRAINING EXPERIENCE

Co-Founder, Executive Board Member, Alliance for Conflict Transformation, Inc. (ACT). All aspects of organizational development and directing initiatives such as Track One- Track Two Coordination initiatives, USAID-funded Georgian-Abkhaz confidence building, Cyprus bicommunal conflict resolution workshops, Northern Ireland training and facilitation, etc., 1998- 2004.
Senior Program Associate, The Carter Center, Conflict Resolution Program. Designing, preparing, and facilitating high-level peacebuilding interventions in international inter-group conflicts such as Congo-Brazzaville, Sudan- Uganda, Georgia-Abkhazia, Guyana, Fiji, Ecuador, and Haiti. Extensive travel (50% of time abroad), work directly with Heads of State and their direct representatives as a representative of President Carter, participated in OAS-CARICOM-Carter Center joint mission to Haiti, facilitated dialogue amongst senior Sudanese and Ugandan negotiators, directed Georgian-Abkhaz workshop, developed the International Council on Conflict Resolution, and bridged between governmental and NGO peacebuilding initiatives. Work with other Peace Programs efforts in democratization, transparency, civil society development, elections monitoring, human rights, etc., supervise and mentor junior colleagues, 1999-2001.
