Professor Bill Rosenberger was an invited discussant at the Royal Statistical Society, London, for a conference celebrating the 70th birthday of Prof. Anthony Atkinson, London School of Economics. Prof. Atkinson is one of the world's leading experts in experimental design and regression diagnostics. Dr. Rosenberger summarized Prof. Atkinson's work in designing clinical trials using covariate information and presented new work on covariate-adjusted response-adaptive (CARA) randomization.
