Asia Pacific Studies is an undergraduate minor in the College
of Humanities & Social Sciences. It is an interdisciplinary
field of study designed for students whose interests focus on the
humanities and social sciences.
The minor encourages students to explore:
- Asia's role in the global system
- Asia's influence in the cultural mosaic of human experience
- The relationship of a new type of trans-regionalism i.e. the
links between Asia and North America
- The cultural, historical, economic and political dimensions
of Asia
Requirements: 18 credits (see courses
for details)
Required Courses: 6 credits
