Session I: July 6 - July 26, 2008 (followed by London Week: July 26 - August 2)
The Cambridge University International Summer Schools Program in Art History is an intense three-week, six credit academic program, followed by a week in London. The program involves substantial reading before the program begins and a rigorous academic schedule while in Cambridge. The academic program lasts three weeks, during which time you will live in Cambridge College residence hall and eat breakfast and dinner at your residence with faculty and classmates.
During London Week you will spend one week of free, unstructured time exploring the city at your leisure. You will be housed in a furnished apartment. You are responsible for paying for meals and entertainment. The London Week is not affiliated with Cambridge University. This is an added benefit provided by CGE.
6 credits are available in ARTH
Each course is worth 3 credits at the undergraduate level.

The program is open to Mason students, non-Mason students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the general public. To obtain credit, undergraduate students need at least a 3.0 GPA and graduate students must have a 3.5 GPA.

To apply, first, consult the How to Apply section and then complete the online application. You must pay the non-refundable $75 application fee for your application to be considered.
In addition to the online CGE application, interested students must download and submit the University of Cambridge Application along with the rest of their supplementary materials.
NOTE: Once students have submitted their online application and supplementary materials, applicants must then submit a $500 non-refundable deposit in order to secure their space and course selection.
