This intensive Italian language program offers participants the opportunity to study Italian language and culture in Florence, the heart of the Italian Renaissance and on the island of Elba. Participants can choose to study for one month (3 weeks in Florence and 1 week on Elba) or for two months (6 weeks in Florence and 2 weeks on Elba). Course will be offered at the beginning through advanced levels.
While in Florence, participants will study Italian at the CENTRO FIORENZA, founded in 1982, its premises are located in the center of Florence, in a prestigious seventeenth century palace. From windows overlooking the river Arno, students can enjoy a delightful view of Florence and the famous Ponte Vecchio. Courses are taught by experienced, university-trained teachers and will cover grammar, conversation and culture and for advanced levels, literature will also be offered.
While on Elba, participants will continue Italian lessons at various locations. Elba is a beautiful island located off the coast of Tuscany, offering an astonishing variety of landscapes: rolling hills, big sandy beaches and little inlets alternate with rocky coastlines.
