UPON ACCEPTANCE
CANCELLATION POLICY
TO APPLY
1. Consult with your academic advisor if you plan to take the program for credit. Make sure that the credits offered for the program will fit into your academic program.
2. Obtain a cost breakdown from CGE. Take the cost breakdown to the Financial Aid Office at your home university to determine your eligibility. (This step applies to students seeking financial aid only.)
3. Complete the Online Application.
4. Submit additional application materials to CGE (235 Johnson Center or 4400 University Drive, MS 2B8, Fairfax, VA 22030-4444).
Your application package must include:
- $75 non-refundable application fee (payable by check made out to Mason or Visa/Mastercard). Download (59.51 K) a Credit Card Authorization Form.
- A current academic transcript for students. (Does not need to be official and Mason students may print a copy from Patriot Web.)
- One photocopy of the photo page of your passport (black and white copies are acceptable). If you do not currently have a passport your application will still be considered. Please apply for a passport immediately and inform your Program Officer. Each student is responsible for obtaining his/her passport. If you do not get a passport before the departure of the program, you risk not being able to participate on the program.
- Two photographs (passport size)
- Statement of purpose, including:

Academic and Professional Objectives for enrolling/participating in the program

What type of internship are you looking for

Whether you would like to work in Israel or the Palestinian Territories

UPON ACCEPTANCE
1. Submit non-refundable $1000 deposit to the Mason Cash Office.
2. Pick up a Financial Aid Profile Sheet and cost breakdown from CGE, submit them to the Mason Financial Aid Office for completion, and return the completed Profile Sheet to Mason Abroad.
(This step applies to Mason students only.)
3. Attend mandatory pre-departure orientation on Saturday, May 5, 2007.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Participants canceling out of the program will be refunded the total amount minus the $1,000 deposit up to 30 days before departure. Participants canceling less than 30 days before the program or during the program will not be refunded any portion of the program fee. If Center for Global Education - cancels the program for any reason, participants will be refunded the full amount paid. For invoice questions, please contact Joanne Cabe or call (703) 993-4048.
