DESCRIPTION

This exciting new global internship program in beautiful Marseille, France debuted Fall 2006, and is now offered every fall, spring to students of all majors at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, including international students. French language is helpful, but NOT necessary for participation!

The Center for Global Education, in partnership with EuroMed Marseille, offers students the unique opportunity to participate in a professional academic internship in Southern France. In the 15-week fall and spring options, internships are complemented with a weekly class of their choice from a pre-arranged list which is taught at the Euromed School of Business. Students intern four days per week, gaining valuable practical experience, and participate in the formal class one day per week. Students are evaluated according to their performance at the internships, and are also required to complete reflective and research assignments as part of their coursework (From both the Mason Faculty Director and their Marseille professor). All students, both Mason and non-Mason, are eligible for career counseling, resume writing tips and internship search strategies from Mason's University Career Services

Internships are coordinated through the international office of EuroMed Marseille, and offered in a variety of professional fields including, but not limited to: Business, Commerce, International Trade and Finance, Communications, Government and Politics, History, Social Services, Arts and Culture.
