Multicultural programs are designed to provide support for individuals from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Other Multicultural Services include a variety of workshops, groups, and outreach programs to students from international backgrounds.
The Peer Empowerment Program
The Peer Empowerment Program (PEP) provides support to students as they deal with academic and personal concerns. The staff includes a diverse group of student peer educators who are dedicated to providing guidance, encouragement, and support to all Mason students. PEP also offers outreach and consultation services in support of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
International Student Support Programs
CAPS provides valuable resources for international students, including individual counseling, group counseling, consultation, and a wide variety of workshops and programs to assist international students in making the most of their educational and life experiences at Mason. Students can discuss concerns related to cross cultural adjustment, interpersonal relationships, challenges associated with adapting to a whole new culture and last but not the least, explore ways of capitalizing on the unique benefits of integrating two different cultural experiences.
