Kevin McCabe received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1985. He is professor of economics and law at George Mason University and is affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science (ICES), the Krasnow Institute for Advanced Study, the Mercatus Center, and the Center for Law and Neuroeconomics. Professor McCabe serves on the board of directors, and as a distinguished research scholar, for the International Foundation for Research in Experimental Economics (IFREE).

His research interests are Neuroeconomics, Experimental Economics, Economic Systems Design, and Social Change.
