The Film and Media Studies (FAMS) Program at George Mason University offers a concentration in film and media studies within the English major (click here for more details).

The program also offers an inter-disciplinary minor in film and media studies. Several departments and programs within the College of Arts and Science--notably, English, Communication, Music, Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures, the Center for the Study of the Americas, and African-American Studies--have joined together to offer this interdisciplinary minor in Film and Media Studies. Although media production components are offered in the minor curriculum, this program does not constitute a minor in film or television production.
