Francis H. Buckley

Director
Frank Buckley is Associate Dean and a Foundation Professor of Law at George Mason Law School, where he has taught since 1989. Before then he was a Visiting Olin Fellow at the University of Chicago Law School. He also has taught at McGill Law School in Montreal and at the Sorbonne (Paris II). In fall 2006 he will be a visiting professor at Sciences Po in Paris. His most recent books are "The Morality of Laughter " (2003) and "Just Exchange" (2005).

John Giacomini

Director of Special Programs
John Giacomini has very extensive experience in organizing and managing conferences, institutes, and programs. He has worked in the Law & Economics Center since 1992 and is well known to the judges who have attended our institutes since then. He has a graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University.

Jeff Smith

Legal Program Officer
Jeff graduated from the George Mason University School of Law in 2002 and is a member of the Virginia State Bar. Jeff also has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maryland and enjoys rooting for the Terps in his spare time.
