Major Focus of the Lab: Genomics, Mostly Human.
 

Research Interests:

We are interested in looking into a puzzle of molecular pathways in human cells. As this topic includes EVERYTHING, we are trying to concentrate on the most interesting pieces of this puzzle — pathways related to human diseases. Well, we are mostly working with human cancers and obesity. If genes cloned by us will be found to be involved in other interesting pathways — we are not going to be very disappointed.

Yes, we are also doing "classical" genomics. Publicly available databases are treasure troves full of undiscovered diamonds. We are not going to miss it.
