George Mason University Renames Buildings

George Mason's Building Naming Committee has announced new names for three buildings and the library on the Prince William Campus.
Prince William I will be known as the Occoquan Building, Prince William II (home to MMB graduate programs) will now be called Discovery Hall, the new Prince William III will be called Bull Run Hall and our Prince William Library will be named the Mercer Library (for John Mercer, who was a mentor to George Mason and a resident of Prince William County).

Bull Run Hall (aka Prince William 3a)

The next step for the Prince William Campus is the addition of a third academic building. Construction has begun on a 100,000 square-foot building which is the first phase of a 200,000 square-foot building. This facilty will provide teaching laboratories as well as faculty offices for the Department of Molecular and Microbiology.
