Mary Lechter, Stagecraft
Status: adjunct professor
Teaching Positions: not currently teaching

Mary Lechter has worked professionally in the Washington, DC area for the past several years. She has appeared on stage at Theater of the First Amendment, Arena Stage, Studio Theatre, Gala Hispanic, Freedom Stage, Consenting Adults, and Source Theatre, among others, and works frequently in radio, film (Barry Levinson’s Avalon) and television (All My Children). In addition to performing, Mary teaches acting at George Mason University, has taught at The Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory and John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and founded A Class Act – Acting for Young People & Adults, Inc., a program that offers acting training for the young and young at heart, sponsored by the City of Fairfax Commission on the Arts.
