Friends of Music

The Friends of Music is an organization dedicated to providing financial and volunteer support to the Music Department so that it may fulfill its academic goals and programmatic aspirations.

Friends of Music provide student scholarship funding and give their time to assist the Music Department in its student and faculty recitals and concerts on campus. Friends also facilitate and often host home-based musicales to introduce others to the outstanding musical artistry of our students and faculty. One of our most important roles is to be Mason Music Ambassadors by encouraging others to attend Department of Music activities and welcoming new students to the department.

We invite you to share in the common vision that produces uncommon results for every Mason Music student. Join us on our continuous quest for musical enjoyment and educational excellence by becoming a Friend of Music.

Friends of Music would like to thank the following individuals for their generous contributions to the 2007 Music Scholarship Concert:

Benefactor
Phaup Brown Wealth Management Group

Patron
Mr. and Mrs. J. Norman Crutchfield
Ms. Janice Dewire
Dr. James and Diane Gardner
