Job Description: Greater DC Cares is looking for a full or part time Program Team Intern. The intern will support and assist the program staff with all aspects of their work. This is a great opportunity to learn about the sector and to have fun while doing it.

The Program Team Intern is responsible for:

• Assisting with the organization and facilitation of trainings, workshops, and networking events for all programs;
• Conducting online correspondence with key partners;
• Researching and creating issue-specific fact sheets and resource lists to assist program staff with their work;
• Conducting project outreach and development;
• Helping prepare for and run large days of volunteer service;
• Helping inventory and maintain the Community Tool Chest;
• Updating partner organizations’ identified needs and profiles;
• Creating electronic profiles for all nonprofits participating in the Board Leadership Program;
• Compiling a comprehensive list of nonprofit partners;
• Assisting with the coordination and distribution of in-kind goods and services to our nonprofit partners and;
• General programmatic data entry.
