AmeriCorps Positions

The Urban Ecology Institute in Boston, MA is seeking to fill a number of full-time, one-year AmeriCorps VISTA positions in both our Education and Sustainable Cities programs, and with some of our NGO partners in Chelsea and Lawrence, MA.

These positions are great professional development and network-building opportunities for graduating college seniors interested in environmental education, urban environmental science, community-based environmental action (especially community forestry and planting programs in e.j. neighborhoods).

For some positions (notably those in support to our in-school and out-of-school field studies programs) some degree of a science and/or environmental science or studies background is preferred, but not required.
