The seventh meeting of WG1 and WG2 will take place at of George Mason University, November 9--13, 1998. WG1 will meet November 9, and 10, with the morning of the morning of the 11th reserved for any unfinished business. WG2 will meet November 11 and 12, with the morning of the 13th reserved for unfinished business.

George Mason University is located in Fairfax, Virginia, approximately 18 miles west of Washington D.C., and just a few miles away from Washington Dulles Airport. The meeting will take place in Rooms 5 and 6 of the Student Union II Building in the Fairfax Campus. The Department of Systems Engineering and Operations Research will be the host of this meeting.

Getting to George Mason University

George Mason University has three campuses; the meeting will be held at the main campus in Fairfax. The campus is a 25 minute ride from the Vienna Metro station on either the green line or gold line of the CUE bus. The Vienna station is the last station on the orange line of Metro. Pay parking is available on campus in the Visitor Parking Deck

Shopping

Fairfax County offers the best shopping south of Fifth Avenue, with more than 200 shopping centers featuring everything from high fashion boutiques to discount stores. Tysons Corner has two major malls, Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria, featuring 400 specialty shops and major retailers such as: Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Lord and Taylor, J. C. Penny, Hecht's, Macy's, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Fairfax Square features upscale stores such as Tiffany & Co., Fendi, Hermes, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. Regional shopping malls such as Fair Oaks and Springfield feature many fine department stores, specialty shops and restaurants. Reston Town Center offers an urban setting for boutiques and restaurants. Clifton, Fairfax, Herndon and Vienna have specialty shops and boutiques in their downtown areas.
