Areas of Interest:
Donald R. Gregory is Professor of Philosophy at Northern Virginia Community College, and has also taught as Adjunct Professor at George Mason and Saint Leo Universities and Tidewater Community College. His distance education online courses have been offered at other colleges via Internet and television, and in addition he has hosted several cable television programs.

Gregory holds the Ph.D. in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University, has served as President of the Washington Philosophy Club, and is a former Chancellor's Commonwealth Professor. He is the author of Mind Your Logic (Kendall/Hunt, Second Edition 2007), and author/editor of The Questions Behind the Answers: A Sampler in Philosophy (University Press of America, 1982). His articles have appeared in such scholarly journals as Teaching Philosophy, Religious Studies, The History of Philosophy Quarterly, and The Northern Virginia Review. He has delivered a lecture series, "The Basics of Logic," at the Smithsonian Resident Associates' "Campus on the Mall" program, and has recently given presentations on online teaching at the Society for Applied Learning Technology and the New Horizons Conference.

Gregory and his wife Mary, also a philosophy professor, have been married for 35 years. They have three children and three grandchildren.
