Philosophy at George Mason University
Philosophy
is concerned with the basic questions of human existence, such as, How
should I live? What is a just society? What is knowledge? What is beauty?
Is there a God?
In studying philosophy students can become familiar with the long tradition
of Western thought on these issues, and with the efforts of philosophers
today to answer such questions and to understand the tradition we inherit.
