Linda Schwartzstein called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.

New courses: SPAN 510, ECON 632, ECON 633, ECON 634 (Approved)

Modified Course: ENGL 740

Deleted Courses: COMM 540, COMM 543, ENGL 790

New Programs: Graduate Certificate in Economic Systems Design - tabled until next meeting

Modified Programs: Master of Arts in Foreign Languages - Council noted there is no need for it to approve changes to requirements in the concentration.

Master of Science in Health Science, Gerontology Concentration - tabled until next meeting

C. GSE Courses/Programs for Approval

VI. Discussion Items

After a brief discussion about the timeliness and completeness of materials that Council members need in order to make decisions at the meetings, Linda Schwartzstein volunteered to draft a procedural checklist for the Council to review.
