Graduate Council meetings are held monthly, August through May, in Mason Hall Room D5, from 1:30-3:00. See schedule for exact dates. All meetings are open to the general George Mason University community.

Provost Stearns called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.
II. Approval of May Minutes

The minutes of the May 16, 2007 meeting were approved as written.
The Provost announced that a search committee will be set up to recruit for the new Associate Provost for Graduate Education position. Provost Stearns solicited self nominations for membership on the search committee but there were no volunteers during the meeting. The position will be filled when funding becomes available, possibly July 1, 2008.
