H. Riskind, Ph.D. (Director) |
| John H. Riskind is
a Professor of Psychology at George Mason University, and previously at
the Psychiatry Department at the University of Pennsylvania in the Center
for Cognitive Therapy. Dr. Riskind received both his Ph.D. and his
Masters degree in psychology from Yale University. He has training
in both social and clinical psychology. His research focuses on negative
cognitive styles and cognitive-behavioral processes in anxiety disorders.
He is a coauthor of two books, and an Associate Editor of Cognitive
Therapy and Research, and Editor of the Journal of Cognitive Psychotherapy:
An International Quarterly. |

Gessner, Ph.D. (Faculty) |
| Dr. Theodore Gessner
is an associate professor of psychology at George Mason University in the
Industrial/Organizational and Human Factors Engineering Program. In addition
to his work with the lab, Dr. Gessner had conducted and published research
on destructiveness, the development of moral beliefs, humor, and leadership.
His current research interests and areas of expertise include social-cognitive
perspectives on romantic relationships, moral reasoning, coping styles,
and cognitive vulnerability to anxiety. |

Chrosniak, Ph.D. (Faculty) |
| Dr. Linda Chrosniak
is an associate profess of psychology at George Mason University in the
cognitive/development/physiological program. Dr. Chrosniak has conducted
and published research on memory bias in cognitive vulnerability to anxiety,
source monitoring and aging, the effects of aging on priming and skill
learning, and the generation effect. |
