BS/SE Program Schedule

Course Prerequisites and Co-requisites
Course prerequisites or co-requisites state requirements for student entry into courses and reflect necessary preparation
for attempting the courses. It is the students responsibility to meet the pre-and co-requisites of their courses.
Students not meeting these requirements will be dropped from the course.
A diagram of prerequisite sequences for required courses in the SE program is available in PDF format. Prerequisites for technical elective sequences vary with the specialization and the specific electives chosen. It is essential for students to complete their mathematics and physics courses as soon as possible because many later courses have these courses as prerequisites.
Advising and Plan of Study
All systems engineering students are assigned a faculty advisor. With the help of their faculty advisor students are required to complete an approved plan of study. The plan of studies maps a schedule for the student for taking all required courses, and designs an approved set of electives. Changes to the plan must be approved by the advisor beforehand.
