Jim Regan is Director of the Mason Enterprise Center's Procurement Technical Assistance Program within the George Mason School of Public Policy. He has more than 25 years of experience in commercial and government business development and management with both small and large corporations. As the PTAP director he applies these skills to assist businesses in pursuit of their government business objectives.
Mr. Regan possesses in-depth experience in corporate strategic and tactical planning, and plan execution to achieve objectives. His activities in systems integration and services business development have developed broad knowledge of the government acquisition process and organizations in both the Federal and vendor community.
Prior to joining PTAP in 1994, Mr. Regan held senior business development management positions at Unisys, CSC and IBM in the Washington, D.C. area. He also served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development with American Coastal Industries, a diversified small business involved in manufacturing and systems integration. These positions have given Mr. Regan a wide range of experience in a variety of functional business areas including subcontractor and program management, systems engineering, and business development.
Mr. Regan holds a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy and an M.S. in Management Data Processing from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. He is a retired Captain from the U.S. Navy and was an airline pilot with Pan American Airways.
