School of Public Policy, Contributing to a Livable World

Leslie Levin
Assistant Dean of Graduate Admissions and Marketing

The George Mason School of Public Policy encourages qualified applicants for its master's and doctoral programs. The School holds regularly scheduled information sessions at its Arlington and Fairfax campuses on its degree programs, which offer the opportunity to meet the program directors, faculty, and admissions staff.
The School is committed to attracting the best and the brightest students from around the nation and around the world.

"We recruit widely in order to attract the best students. Our admissions process is student-focused and emphasizes a combination of past academic performance along with professional work experience,'' says Leslie Levin. "The Graduate Admissions Office works with prospective students throughout the process and is committed to offering students advice and guidance as they begin this new academic venture.''

Prospective students can apply to degree programs for both Fall and Spring semesters. The admissions process is competitive and each application is reviewed individually. The School believes strongly in building a strong cadre of students throughout the selective admissions process and encourages applications from students with diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
