Master of Science in New Professional Studies: Peace Operations

Program Requirements

The Peace Operations program requires 39 hours of graduate work. The complete curriculum includes:
  • MNPS 700: The New Professionalism (Theory of Peace Operations)
  • MNPS 702: The New Professional as Reflective Practitioner (Practice of Peace Operations)
  • MNPS 703: Experiential Applications
  • PUBP 501: Policy and Organizational Analysis
  • PUBP 502: Governance and Policy Processes
  • PUBP 503: Culture, Organization, and Technology
  • PUBP550: Analysis and Peace Operations
  • Five Elective Courses

Electives are chosen by students to develop a specific substantive policy area. See the Peace Operations Description for a full description of requirements. An internship at an approved organization, or project regarding an agreed upon topic, may be counted as an elective.
