Policy Analysis Center

The George Mason School of Public Policy's Policy Analysis Center helps organizations to be more enterprising, integrated, and efficient. It seeks new ways to integrate advancements in information technology to improve supply chains, data exchange, and enterprise software to help businesses work smarter and faster. It is committed to transferring these solutions developed to resolve issues facing business-to-business commerce to addressing similar challenges confronting governments around the world.

The Policy Analysis Center works closely with partners such as Boeing Co., Oracle Corp., IDS Scheer Inc., and other corporate leaders in its laboratory to conduct critical research projects. Recent projects have included the establishment of an aerospace eBusiness hub in Taiwan, and the design of critical success factors for efficient enterprise systems implementations.

The center is an example of how students and faculty at the School of Public Policy, such as professors Thomas Gulledge and Rainer Sommer, apply the knowledge they gain in the classroom and during their research in a real-world setting. The Policy Analysis Center is working actively to improve organizational processes in both the private and public sectors to contribute to a more livable world.
