UNIV Courses

During each of the four years of a student’s academic career they experience a transitional period during which a change occurs. The UNIV transition courses help our students address the issues they will face during each of these transition periods, resulting in a successful college career and graduation with a Bachelor’s degree.

UNIV100 assists freshmen with their transition to college life by helping them to adjust academically, develop decision-making skills and learn about the services and opportunities to get involved. UNIV 200 topics focus on choosing a major or career. UNIV300 has two tracks. The first is for new transfer students making the transition to a new university and the second focuses on career readiness for internships and research assistantships. UNIV400 places emphasis on helping future graduates prepare for the workplace or graduate school and for life responsibilities.
