OWL, the University Writing Center's Online Writing
Lab, exists for writers who cannot come to campus, who need help when the
Writing Center is closed, or who prefer to work in a virtual environment.
OWL consultants have extensive writing and teaching experience and will
review writing, offer feedback, and provide guidance at any stage of the
writing process by responding to your specific writing concerns.
OWL serves the entire GMU community. Students, faculty,
staff, and alumni from every school and department may use the services
of the OWL. The OWL combines the consulting services available in the University
Writing Center with the convenience of the World Wide Web and email.
Before sending any work to the OWL, writers must registerto
join the OWL community and read
the OWL submission guidelines. The more information you can
give the OWL, the more help its consultants can offer you. The links below
will help you navigate the OWL.
