The ABI PRISM® 310 Genetic Analyzer is an automated single-capillary genetic analyzer designed for a wide range of sequencing and fragment analysis applications. From de novo sequencing to SNP validation to linkage mapping, the versatile API PRISM 310 system can support most gel-based assays.

Features

The 310 system offers flexibility to perform a variety of applications such as comparative sequencing, linkage analysis, SNP discovery and validation, and mutation detection

Elimination of gel preparation enables the instrument to run in minutes

Run three colors of microsatellites, or other fragments, and a size marker in a single lane

Detects five dyes providing increased throughput.

Location

The ABI PRISM® 310 Genetic Analyzer is located at the Prince William Campus in SRIF Lab 221of Discovery Hall Building.
