Introduction

The Agilent Technologies HPLC system determines the concentrations of target solutes in dilute, liquid sample mixtures. It works best for the following applications:

  • aqueous samples such as cell extracts, plasma or environmental samples
  • analytes with UV absorbance such as aromatic compounds
  • analytes with which fluoresce in the UV-VIS range such as aromatic compounds
  • analytes with VIS absorbance such as pigments or dyes
  • analytes which can be easily oxidized or reduced
  • determining the presence and concentration of a specific target compound
