Thermo (REVCO) ultra-low temperature freezers ( -86°C) combine robust refrigeration systems with advanced electronic controls to ensure that valuable samples are stored safely and securely. The solid-state, adjustable temperature controller is recessed to prevent tampering. The digital temperature display has a resolution within 1°C. The upright and chest freezers feature the Legaci refrigeration system with fully integrated cooling technology for ultra-low temperature use, which provides reliability and sample security by withstanding strenuous laboratory environments. It includes customized Copeland 1hp compressors combined with DuPont Suva 95 refrigerant to provide the extra strength needed for extreme temperature loads. Pressure Equalization Port (PEP) combats door open and close pressurization differential in the inner chamber, allowing easy re-entry within 30 seconds.
