SpectraCount uses a classical complex lens system rather than fiber optics to create the light beam yielding better collimation than is feasible with fiber optic-based designs. This parallel column of light is detected by a large-diameter silicon sensor, ensuring maximum detection of all transmitted light over a wide wavelength range: from 340 nm to 750 nm. The transmitted light is accurately measured by low noise circuitry. • Single beam design for optimum performance over a wide linear range.
