Dr. Huff is director of the Shared Research Instrumentation Facility, the George Mason core shared analytical equipment lab. He maintains the analytical instrumentions, schedules user projects, provides instruction on it's use and provides consultation for faculty and student conducting individual research projects.

Dr. Huff is also a faculty researcher in the Potomac Environmental Research and Education Center (PEREC).

PhD in Environmental Science and Policy, 2011, George Mason University, Fairfax, VA.
MS in Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, 1996, George Mason University.
BS in Environmental Science, 1977, Stockton State College, Pomona, NJ.


Research Interests:

Dr. Huff specializes in analytical organic chemistry, environmental chemistry and chemical eclogy. His reseach studies include the fate and transport processes of organic pollutants in surface waters in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. He has has 22+ years experience in the use of gas-chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS).
