PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FOLLOWING ITINERARY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Join us for an exciting Spring Break tour to Scotland! On this week-long tour, you will visit three major areas in Scotland including Edinburgh, the Highlands with its famed Loch Ness, and Glasgow.

Your week will start off in the beautiful old city of Edinburgh where you will enjoy a walking tour of the city – the Royal Mile from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to Edinburgh Castle ending up at the Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre for a local tasting. Free time will be included for shopping and personal discovery of the Grassmarket and historical sites.

Next the tour will take you to Southern Scotland to New Lanark, passing by Rosslyn Chapel made famous in the "Da Vinci Code". Then into Central Scotland to St. Andrews and Perth, driving through the scenic Cairgorms at Aviemore to arrive at Inverness in the Scottish highlands. Enjoy the famed lochs, including Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Fort William, Glencoe and Loch Lomond and experience a traditional Scottish banquet feast.

Finally the tour will finish in the city of Glasgow with some free time and a visit to the Burns National Heritage Park before returning back to the U.S.

1 optional credit of History at the undergraduate or graduate level

Students taking tour for 1 credit need to pay an additional $285.

ELIGIBILITY

This tour is open to all - George Mason University and non-Mason students of all levels, staff, faculty, and alumni, as well as the general public. To obtain credit, you need at least a 2.25 GPA.

Center for Global Education - Mason Abroad reserves the right to make any necessary changes including adjustments in cost in the event that unforeseen circumstances arise.

CGE reserves the right to raise its program fees in light of currency fluctuations or any other unforeseen circumstances.

To apply, first, consult the "How to Apply" section and, second, complete the online Center for Global Education - Mason Abroad application. You must pay the non-refundable $75 application fee and $100 non-refundable airfare deposit for your application to be considered ($175 upon applying).
