Improve your Spanish language proficiency at the University of Guadalajara, one of Mexico's oldest and most prestigious universities. Mason students have the unique opportunity to study Spanish at the intermediate and advanced levels while exploring, Guadalajara, a cosmopolitan situated in the heart of Mexico. One of the largest, most vibrant cities in Mexico, Guadalajara is an ideal place for students to immerse themselves in the Mexican culture. There are a dazzling array of cultural events and institutions, entertainment, sport events as well as restaurants, markets, shops and services of every imaginable kind. While there, students will be able to visit historic and cultural sites as well as participate in excursions to Guanajuato and Distrito Federal.

The program is open to Mason students, non-Mason students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the general public. To obtain credit, students need at least a 2.25 GPA.
