This program consists of two parts, the first being participation in the 17th Annual Russian-American Seminar. The seminar is a six day event that addresses contemporary Russian-American relations, each country's foreign policies, and the global security challenges facing both nations. Famous Russian and American politicians, diplomats, and academics will attend and speak. The program's second part is a series of lectures and seminars covering topics such as new developments in Russian domestic policy, its place in world affairs, and Russian history and culture. During the first weekend, program participants will take excursions to Pushkin and Peterhof where they will tour the Catherine palace and enjoy free time in Peterhof's parks, famous for their beautiful fountains. The second weekend offers participants more free time and a tour of the Peter and Paul Cathedral and other famous sites with in the city.
3 credits available in GOVT:

The program is open to Mason students, non-Mason students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the general public. To obtain credit, students need at least a 2.25 GPA.
