The field of public relations has reached the global level, crossing borders of social, cultural and political divides. London, one of the world's most vibrant cities, will be your classroom. Meet with various public relations firms, the British Broadcasting Corporation, a government public affairs office, and an international association to witness the nature, history, and the practice of international public relations. Site visits, including the Cabinet War Rooms, will also be included. Topics to be covered include media relations, crisis communication, issues management, special event planning, research and the challenges of public relations management. Emphasis will be placed on the global and intercultural aspects of public relations practices.

The program is open to George Mason University and non-Mason students of all levels, staff, faculty, and alumni, as well as the general public. To obtain credit, you need at least a 2.25 GPA.
