This program is offered every spring to students of all majors at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, including international students.
The Center for Global Education, in partnership with Anglo-American Educational Services, offers students the unique opportunity to participate in a professional academic internship in London. Students are placed in unpaid professional internships for academic credit, based on their course work, skills and personal interests. Internships are complimented by three classes on varying subjects. The classes are:
- British Life and Culture, taught by local British faculty
- One course TBD taught by faculty director
- One Art History Class taught by local faculty
Students intern three days per week, gaining valuable practical experience. Students are evaluated according to their performance at the internships, and are also required to complete reflective and research assignments as part of their coursework (From both the Mason Faculty Director and their London professor). All students, both Mason and non-Mason, are eligible for career counseling, resume writing tips and internship search strategies from Mason's University Career Services, in SUB 1, Room 348
