Follow these steps to quickly connect with the printer in the main office. First install the HP LaserJet 2430 printer driver and then follow the steps below. Ther are many ways to install network printers. Two of them are described here.

Method 1:

  1. Open Printers and Faxes.
  2. Double-click Add Printer to start the Add Printer Wizard, and then click Next.
  3. Click A network printer, or a printer attached to another computer, and then click Next.
  4. If you choose to Browse for a printer follow these steps.
    1. When list of printers appears select this one:\\GEORGE-06253438\HP LaserJet 2430 PCL 6
    2. Click next.
    3. It will ask you whether you want to continue. Click yes.
    4. The printer driver and the printer will be automatically installed in your computer.

Method 2:

  1. Open Printers and Faxes.
  2. Double-click Add Printer to start the Add Printer Wizard, and then click Next.
  3. Select local printer attached with this computer. Uncheck Auto detect and then click Next.
  4. Select Create a new port. Type of port: Standard TCP/IP and then click Next.
  5. It will take you to Add Standard TCP/IP Add Port Wizard and click Next.
  6. Enter ip address of the printer: 129.174.83.180 and click Next.
  7. The printer will be installed in your computer.
